Burlington Parks and Rec is partnering with Skagit Skate to host their very first Junior Skate Date with Mom! This event takes place at Skagit Skate on Sunday, May 1 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. 
 
 This is a new event just for moms and sons. If your son loves to skate (or wants to give it a try!), this will be a great bonding opportunity and a chance to try something new together. Maybe it's been a few years since you've been down to the rink? Sign up today and join us in a few weeks! 
 
 You can choose between traditional four-wheel roller skates or inline skates for the evening. They'll have a FREE event photo area where you can take fun pictures together and download them after the event. There will be FREE tickets for their junior raffle, with prizes every half hour, glow sticks, and a sweet treat from Avenue Catering. Each junior will leave with a treat bag at the end of the night, and... there will be a grand prize "Mommy Pampering Gift" raffle sponsored by the Burlington Soroptimist Club to give away. 
 
Tickets are $12.50 per person ($25 per couple) advanced registration only. If you've got more than one son, they can register at the discounted rate of $10.
