The Whitmarsh Picnic Shelter at the south end of Skagit River Park is home to one of the region's largest collection of horseshoe pits. 

Whitmarsh Picnic Shelter is available for public use from 8:00am until Sunset on a first come first served basis at no cost. The Shelter is not available for reservation. 

• Twelve picnic tables sit under the Whitmarsh Picnic Shelter.
• Electricity is not available at the Shelter.  Water is available during spring & summer from a spigot at the shelter.
• Personal BBQs which use charcoal or propane for fuel can be brought from home. Large BBQs like those used for commercial operations are not allowed without special permit from the Burlington Fire Marshal.   
• A restroom building is situated next door to the shelter.
