  • In 2004, the City Council passed an ordinance prohibiting the sale, use or possession of fireworks within the city limits of Burlington. Any public display of fireworks will require a permit and payment for that permit. The application for such a permit shall be made to the fire chief and must also have the approval of the police chief. If you have any other questions, you can contact the Burlington Police Department at 360-755-0921, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
