Thriftopia Flea Market
Do you like to recycle, repurpose whenever possible?  We have just the event for you!  Thriftopia takes place annually on the last Saturday of April and consists of three City buildings: Burlington Library, Senior Center and the Parks and Recreation Building.  Vendors of all ages are invited to bring their gently used items for resale at this community flea market event.  Pre-registration is required for participating vendors, which typically opens in early March. No entry fee for shoppers.

Berry Dairy Days 
Each summer in June, Burlington Chamber hosts the ultimate celebration: Berry Dairy Days! Kicking off the weekend is Food Trucks and Live Music at Skagit River Park. This is a fantastic family event each summer with activities all weekend long. 

Lawn Mower Races
Lawn Mower Races are back in Burlington! Get your mowers running and meet us on the dirt track (across from Rotary Park). This community event will be epic, so come join in the fun! Find more information here, including how to register, and Rules & Regulations for racing.

Skyhawks Sports Camps and Challenger Camps
Kids can try out various sports camps each week during summer with our Skyhawks Sports Camps that are offered at various times and locations throughout Burlington Parks. Challenger Soccer Camps bring an opportunity to further your child's soccer skills with coaches from abroad. 

Summer Nights Concerts 
The perfect Friday nights during the summer are spent in Downtown Burlington! Join us at the Burlington Visitor Center Amphitheater on Friday nights during July. This totally FREE concert series is a great way to relax as you head into the weekend. Enjoy live music and grab a bite to eat at some of our fantastic restaurants downtown.

Burlington Fall Festival

Join us for Burlington's two-day harvest festival during the last weekend in September. Held at Maiben Park in Burlington, this community event is FREE and open to the public. Some of our the festival highlights include Pumpkin Painting, Live Entertainment, Food Vendors, and Zucchini Cars! Burlington Fall Festival is where you'll find FREE family fun for the whole community. 

PupKin 5K Fun Run
Calling all four-legged, furry, tail-waggin' friends! Leash up your well-behaved human and join us in October for our FREE annual PupKin 5K Fun Run. Walk or run, this 5K/10K is fun for everyone. Costumes are encouraged for both humans and their dogs, but not required. No pup? No problem, we welcome anyone wanting to join in on the fun! 

Skagit County Veterans Day Parade 
Each November, the City of Burlington proudly hosts the Skagit Count Veterans Day Parade. Join the community along Fairhaven Avenue in downtown Burlington to honor Veterans and their families, explore the Military Display at the Visitor Information Center, and enjoy the Pancake Breakfast and Soup & Sandwich Luncheon - free for Veterans and open to the public by donation, hosted by American Legion Post 91.

Burlington Merry & Bright Night - Tree Lighting
Celebrate the season with a magical evening of holiday cheer featuring live music, cookies, cocoa, and a special visit from Santa! Enjoy the community tree lighting, story time with Mrs. Claus, and festive free fun for the whole family in downtown Burlington at Alpha Park and the Visitor Information Center. Winter Wonderland
The cold weather brings in a flurry of activities at the Skagit County Children's Museum each year! With activities for kids, teens, adults and families, the Winter Wonderland event is FREE and open to the public. Want to play in REAL snow? You'll find it here! Stay all weekend long and enjoy the food vendors, reindeer sightings, and much more. 

No Sun Fun Run
In December, get ready to embrace the longest night of the year at the No Sun Fun Run! This FREE winter solstice celebration invites runners, walkers, and strollers alike to light up the night with glowing gear and frosty cheer. Come revel in the magic of winter under the stars, with a cozy afterparty featuring hot cocoa, bonfires, and music to keep spirits high. Whether you're racing against the dark or just out for a stroll, the No Sun Fun Run is the perfect way to honor the solstice and celebrate winter in style.
